Everything Ok :P . Some Stores added for fun, have a look.  Other features added. Add your  family recipes, E-Cards, Help build glossary, Add Events, add articles. Register to get further access to data. Help contribue to this project. Probably 1600+ surnames. Hard to research all surnames all by myself. Not sure if the graph paper background is cool. Still missing lots of information. Anybody out there.

Using Joomla Content Management System

I have woke up or jumped on the band wagon when it comes having a professional looking website.

Everything looks good, needs a bit of tweaking though. Just getting phpGedView to work within this environment. You'll be able to access a part of the family tree database using this software. You view names from entire names on home page.(click on "made your web" to change names)

You'll register  from home page and this will get you access, no need to know a bunch of passwords to be  logged into different sites at the same time.

You'll also get access to more blog stuff, info, Remository - upload and downloading of files (.txt, .doc, .pdf , multimedia) and as time goes book publishing features, indexing of pdf articles, and even some online selling.

There is email, print and pdf viewing of writings,if you ask for this after registering.

Connections over 7000 and climbing

Topic: Your Genealogy Website

Spent about 3 months looking at Ancestry.ca getting as much info and source documentation from this Repository. Never thought I'd figure out a lot of the question marks I had.

They don't have everything solved out for us,once you start looking at records, you'll find transcption errors, there aren't many marriage records for our USA relatives. It's a usual problem with getting wife's last name. Have fun for relatives born in UK that died before 1841.

You have to give them some info for a decent records search hit ,but then you get a terrible search feature for looking for info community forums.

Near Ready for New Updates
Mood:  chillin'
Topic: Announcements

There are as of Feb 21/07 about 1100 surnames  names in my Current Database.

Approximately 325 Watterworths. All Waterworths are grouped in

with this bunch.  I have some complete connections from William b. 1785 down to possibly current living clans people from these brothers

Joseph, David , John, James and William branches.

I don't know the exact count.

So there's some work in this area and I have to go thru about 800 names in 1841 British census. (Lanchester and Yorkshire County mostly)

Cheers Cool

NB. We may have had our name revamped for private and public reasons.

It maybe Westenburgh,Westerburgh,Westerburg,Westerberg or with von ,Von prefix. It may have been spelled in latin  in earlier times.

New family data and links
Mood:  cool
Topic: Your Genealogy Website

Been a while since last post. Over the course of the last 9 months new data has been entered. Most was found between May to July 2006. You can click on the link "ourfamilygenes Tripod" to view.

The bulk of this new data is for families (Batie, Tingley, Telfer, Walker) that married Watterworths.

About 1/3 of the Watterworth data is private at this site. This is for living family members and  they can look at their immediate families if they sign up at The North American link.  I'm gonna assume that everyone  that is more than 105 years of age has passed on.  Some who sign up can make their relatives private if they like. Things eventually change at some period in this process.

It may take a while to go back to at least 10 generations. I've seen a website that goes back that far. I don't know if that is the Watterworth/Waterworth name though, relatives that married Watterworths' probably, likely Tingley, Horton, Holbrook and other older english, frank, germanic names for sure.  A good idea would be to start bookmarking using del.icio.us or Google Bookmarks.

I do know about an officer in the British Navy with the last name Watterworth/Waterworth. He was in command of ships that were in need of repairs or refurbishment. This was in 1660's to 1670's period. The man lost his life at The Battle of Solebay unfortuantely.

The British Archives lists Thomas Waterworth making it to admiralty within the Royal Navy.

Anyone know if either man  is  related to you? (I guess this may only may be answered by War Historians.)

Fixing Tree mistakes/New Entries
Mood:  hungry
Topic: Your Genealogy Website
I've had to go into my backup Gedcom on Tripod, which is good, but I didn't back up my Legacy file and therefore had to download a ged file and re-enter all locations for births, deaths , marriages,etc... I haven't seen a backup feature for backing up the master location list in Legacy to get lost love ones back on the map...that would be nice, so anyways, I spent an entire week, (Not 44hrs!), re-entering. Live and learn!! Soon there will be approximately 70 new entries along with corrections, newly linked families and individuals. How many Watterworth's? Well not that many (US relatives not fully included yet). That would be a full-time job, along with running my own web server. Not really... at any rate, I'm outgrowing the free web space of 15MB I have, so maybe soon for adding pictures, documents,etc..

Website genealogy update
Mood:  not sure
Topic: Your Genealogy Website

I've been at it a couple of times in the last 6 months. I've managed only adding 12 Watterworths to the site, plus some of their family. Lots of names have been linked and some have been relinked because of merge errors between two GED files. Some dates and locations have been added as well. So anyways, 2 weeks have gone by and I've added 465 new names to the overall site. I'm sure there are Watterworth connections out there. There weren't many in 1880 USA census who came from England. What am I saying? (It's obvious I wasn't looking to hard) There were some that could be connected to ones in Canada. I'II have to go back further for sure.

As an after thought, records for 1890 US Census were nearly all destroyed in a Washington D. C. fire in 1920 . I found this out later after I previously thought his happened in Michigan. Was it, you know arson?

Checkout the links for Family Genealogy. Maybe I can add your family website.
At this time there are about 1230 names in database , although some may be duplicates. That can happen, but Legacy can give you reports for that, so that certain types of data can be corrected.
In the mean time I'll be making corrections and adding about 60 more names soon.
